We are pleased to share that our design for Hotel Indigo Ningbo Riverside has been awarded the Interior Design Gold Award at the CREDAWARD 2025 ceremony in Shanghai, China.
Recognized as China’s first international real estate design award, CREDAWARD honors outstanding projects from around the world.
On September 12, the 11th CREDAWARD ceremony took place at the Shangri-La Qiantan Hotel in Shanghai, attracted 1,042 entries from 295 institutions, making the competition highly competitive.
The jury comprises leading international academics and top Chinese urban developers with architectural backgrounds. Over the past eleven years, its rigorous evaluation process, transparent judging model, and strict awarding mechanism have earned it recognition as one of the most credible awards in the industry.

INTERIOR DESIGN – GOLD AWARD
Rooted in the birthplace of Ningbo’s prosperity, Sanjiangkou is strongly linked with China Maritime Silk Road. Minding the cycle of time and the legend of Ningbo merchants, Hotel Indigo Ningbo Riverside tells the wonderful story of this south of Yangtze River port city.
Positioned along the banks of the Yongjiang River within the dynamic Ningbo SCI Harbor, the hotel draws inspiration from the Old Bund’s wharf, post office, railway station, and match factory, bringing the city’s industrial and maritime heritage to life.
The design thoughtfully interprets the legacy of Ningbo merchants and the city’s longstanding industrial vitality, blending historical elements with contemporary aesthetics.
Echoes of dockside warehouses, riverine trade, and artisanal culture are woven throughout the hotel’s interiors, offering guests a sensorial connection to the city’s past and present.
